PlayStation 4 wireless remote review
Hello my fellow gamers, today, we will review the technical features of the PlayStation 4 wireless remote. From upgrades, new features, and specs. We all know that an update was need it from the PlayStation 3 DualShock 3, which one of the main problems was the battery life while playing. Let’s address this because it is essential the battery life of one of my biggest dislikes about the last remote. As DualShock 3, the battery life was three to five hours of play per charge, as for the DualShock 4 the charged time is four to eight hours of play per charge.
The DualShocker4 represents a super upgrade from its predecessor just in that department, know let us see at the PlayStation 4 wireless remote review. PlayStation went out of the box, as we haven’t seen much of a change since the PS1, as for DualShocker 4 I would say it got a makeover a total overhaul, from the body design to the trigger button everything looks different from its predecessor. I love the rounder bulkier look, a robust quality built. PlayStation called it a “Revolutionary design.”
The DualShock 4 re-defines today’s gaming generation is combining comfort, revolutionary features, precision controls, upgraded analog stick, and trigger buttons allowing unparalleled accuracy. This Innovative technology offers a new experience, and now you can share your greatest gaming moments with a push of a button. Can you believe that? We have come far on remote technology. Let’s keep going to and review the controls.
Now, this is an update! The analog sticks and trigger buttons have a more fabulous feel and sensitivity. The first time I used it reminded me of what PlayStation said “Unparalleled accuracy with every move,” I said to myself, not bad. They outdid themselves.
The design of the L2 R2 buttons its one of my favorites, that feeling you get that your fingers won’t slip off its amazing, even tho some customers reported of them being a little slippy. An inverted half C (as I called it) gives it a futuristic look. The L1 R1 buttons half moon design and the chamfers added for a cleaner look, and refine analog sticks deserves a two thumbs up from me.
The TouchPad and Connectivity
I will say the touchpad is a sweet feature. Wow, would have thought you’ll see a touchpad on top of the remote control? PlayStation hit out of the park with these, let’s look at the touchpad description. The touchpad is a two-point capacities touch with a click mechanism. The multi-touch, clickable touch pad expands gameplay possibilities in some cases faster than the old option, which was the select button like when you have to call time out in a sports game.
An Incorporated lightbar in unison with the PlayStation Camera allows for easy player identification and screen adjustments when playing with your friends in the same room, with four different colors to choose from, making this feature ideal for multi-player gaming.
Here is a list of some games you can play and use the pad.
- Blacklight Retribution
- Assasin’s Creed IV
- Lego Marvel Super Heroes
- Madden NFL 25, and NBA 2k 14
Let me know in the comments below about your experience using the touchpad and share with me how you implement it in a game. As far as the connectivity, it has one micro-USB, one extension port, one stereo headset jack and also features wireless connectivity via Bluetooth, with a built-in speaker to experience and interact with your game in a whole new way.
The Share Button
Sharing content while gaming just hit another level, nor only can you share a screenshot, you can now broadcast with a push of a button. The addition of the Share button makes sharing your greatest gaming moments easy and convenient. You can upload gameplay videos or live-stream your gameplays videos directly from your system, all without disturbing your game in progress, all thanks to this new button. Is that sweet or what?
The Dualshock 4 is an excellent remote; the upgrades alone make this controller a must-have. We talk about all the new features, the games you can try the touchpad on. The DualShock 4 is available in fifteen different colors. If I were reading this back in the 80 s’, I would think that the remote is from the future, and indeed it is. PlayStation did a terrific job with the upgrades they are always evolving, improving, advancing and transforming, no wonder is one of the leading gaming brands. Please leave your comments below share your experiences using this remote control, until next time my fellow gamers peace.
