THE BEST CURVED GAMING MONITORS – 2019

LG 34UC79G-B 34-Inch 21:9 Curved UltraWide IPS Gaming Monitor with 144Hz Refresh Rate

A lower resolution curved gaming monitor, the LG 34UC79G-B is the best 1080p curved gaming monitor. It’s a stretched 1080p monitor, with a slightly wider screen than normal. It’s a good monitor for most uses, with very good gaming performance.

This monitor is great for gaming on older PCs, or if you simply want the smoothest gaming experience possible. It has excellent motion handling, including very fast response time and excellent 144Hz refresh rate. Plus, it supports AMD FreeSync for a tear-free gaming experience. Like most gaming monitors, it has excellent low input lag, even if you’re playing a game that’s locked at 60Hz.

Unfortunately, the LG 34UC79G-B isn’t very bright and may have a tough time overcoming glare in a bright room. It also doesn’t look as good in a dark room, as despite the decent contrast ratio, there is notable backlight bleed and poor black uniformity. Overall, it will keep most gamers happy.

Acer Predator Z35P bmiphz 35″ Curved 1800R QHD (3440×1440) NVIDIA G-SYNC VA Monitor

If you play a lot of nights in a dark room, the Acer Predator Z35P is a good alternative to the darkroom of the LG 34GK950F-B. It has a slightly slower response time, but it has a great refresh rate of 100Hz and supports G-SYNC for almost free games. This monitor has a much better natural contrast ratio than LG for better dark scene viewing. Unfortunately, this also means that there is a worse viewing angle and is best enjoyed directly from the front.

Overall, the LG 34GK950F-B is the best extremely curved ultra-wide gaming monitor for most people, but if you’re playing in a dark room and aren’t interested in viewing angles, the Acer Predator Z35P might be a better choice.

Alienware 1900R 34.1″, Curved Gaming Monitor LED-Lit, WQHD 3440 x 1440p Resolution, 4ms 120Hz Overclocked Refresh Rate, NVIDIA G-Sync, 21:9 Aspect Ratio, HDMI, Display Port, 4x USB 3.0, AW3418DW

If you want to get the most out of your NVIDIA graphics card, the Dell Alienware AW3418DW is the best G-SYNC game controller. It has high-speed, high-speed navigation, and optical navigation. This launch offers a much better gaming experience and better response time, a little faster than the Samsung CHG70, but slower.

Overall, the LG 34GK950F-B is good for most gamers, but if you want genuine G-SYNC monitors and have no problem switching, the Dell Alienware AW3418DW is a great choice.

LG 34GK950F-B 34″ 21:9 Ultragear WQHD Nano IPS Curved Gaming Monitor with Radeon FreeSync 2 (2018), Black

The LG 34GK950F-B is the best ultrawide curved game monitor. It’s a great gaming screen with an excellent response time that delivers clear motion with very little blur behind fast-moving objects. There is also an optional black frame insertion feature that can further enhance the motion look. It supports AMD’s FreeSync variable refresh rate technology that delivers an almost tear-free gaming experience.

The ultra-wide aspect ratio of this screen provides a more immersive gaming experience, but it’s not ideal for all games, as it can be difficult to see the entire UI without looking around. This display delivers decent image quality with high SDR peak lighting, wide viewing angles and great reflection handling. It supports HDR, but this doesn’t add much.

In general, the LG 34GK950F-B is a fantastic curved game monitor that should please most. It doesn’t look so good in a dark room but has great gaming performance and decent image quality.

Samsung CRG9 Series 49″ Double QHD HDR 120Hz 4ms FreeSync Curved QLED Gaming Monitor

For the largest curved display available, see Samsung C49RG9 / CRG9. This massive 49-inch screen matches two 27 “, 1440p screens placed side by side. It has the same radius of curvature as the Samsung CHG70, but the larger size gives an incredible gaming experience and also makes the larger screen mean, you have to turn your head to see the full interface in some games, which is not ideal.

All in all, the Samsung CHG70 is the best-curved display for most people, but if you want something bigger and you don’t have to move your head a bit to see the interface, the Samsung C49RG9 / CRG9 may be the better choice.

Samsung C27HG70 27″ HDR QLED 144Hz 1ms Curved Gaming Monitor with FreeSync

Samsung C27HG70 – the best game curved monitor. This 27-inch 1440p display provides a great gaming experience, with fast response time, excellent low-latency and high refresh rates. It also supports FreeSync, even when connected to a recent NVIDIA graphics card, which guarantees you that you will always get the practical and almost any gaming experience from virtually any source.

This monitor uses a VA panel, so it is an excellent choice for games at night in a dark room because it has a very good contrast ratio. Unfortunately, this also leads to an image that is rapidly degraded when viewed from the side, although the curved screen 1800R helps preserve uniformity in the seat directly in front.

This monitor is also available in 32 “size, and we expect that most of the model will be similar to the 27-inch model we tested.

Final Thoughts

Curved gaming monitors might look a bit different compared to flat screens that work very well, but there are some real benefits to them. With a screen that fills up your field of view, you can see more of the screen at a glance, reducing the need to shift your focus to different parts of the screen. On top of reducing eye strain, a curved monitor creates a more immersive, undistorted viewing experience. I hope you have enjoyed this article I invite you to read similar articles below.
